HRAP blends paid, on-the-job training with classroom learning.
Apprenticeship hours may occur during or outside school hours.
Students work in professional environments, gaining real-world experience.
Maintain solid attendance and good academic standing.
Communicate professionally with mentors, supervisors, and instructors.
Follow all safety guidelines and workplace policies.
Represent the school and program responsibly.
Report issues promptly to Career Advisor or teacher.
Support and encourage your student’s participation.
Ensure reliable transportation if needed.
Stay informed about schedules and responsibilities.
Communicate concerns with the school team.
HRAP is an extension of the classroom; performance is monitored and graded.
Participation may lead to credentials, job offers, or further training opportunities.
Students may be terminated if expectations are not met, returning to school.
Nov–Feb: Early Prep: Guest speakers, resume building, mock interviews, student interest survey
Feb–Mar: Phase One: Teacher recommendations, student self-evaluation & commitment form, eligibility check (90% attendance, C avg.), ACC application submission
Mar–Apr: Phase Two: Employer interviews, students prepared with resumes
April: Final Phase: Employer selections & offers, onboarding support, Apprenticeship Signing Ceremony
