If you enjoy working with your hands and have an eye for detail, Auto Body Repair is the perfect place to put your skills to work. In this program, students develop craftsmanship while learning the essentials of welding, metal forming and straightening, painting, finishing, cost estimation, and inventory control. They will practice straightening doors and fenders, replacing panels, aligning sheet metal parts, mixing and matching paint, and applying paint with professional techniques.
Students who continue into Auto Body Repair II will expand their skills by creating shop tickets, replacing door glass, and tackling custom paint jobs, preparing them for a career in a high-demand and rewarding field.
Our Auto Body program operates as a student led enterprise, giving students hands on experience that mirrors the real world workplace. Students do not just practice on training equipment. Under the supervision of the instructor, they work with real customers and real vehicles. From creating shop tickets and writing estimates to performing the actual repair and refinishing work, students gain valuable skills in every part of the process.
This approach allows them to develop technical expertise, customer service skills, and professional responsibility while providing a meaningful service to the community.
