Dr. Jongeun Rhee
Dr. Jongeun Rhee, ScD, MS joined the Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR) in December 2024 as a Principal Investigator and Epidemiology Team Lead. Her roles also include Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Rhee’s research primarily focuses on the investigation of cancer risks associated with various environmental and occupational exposures, including persistent organic pollutants, heavy metals, and air pollution. She conducts molecular epidemiologic studies centered around the etiology of genitourinary cancers such as prostate and kidney cancers and investigates secondary outcomes and survivorship among genitourinary cancer patients.
Dr. Rhee is leading epidemiology studies under CPDR’s PROject for Military Exposures and Toxin History Evaluation (PROMETHEUS). Dr. Rhee received her Sc.D. in Environmental Health (Environmental & Occupational Molecular Epidemiology) and her M.S. in Environmental Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her postdoctoral and research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute.

Sally Elsamanoudi, MPH, MS, MBA serves as the CPDR Clinical Database Administrator. Ms. Elsamanoudi oversees the Multicenter National Database Study, which includes supervising multiple database sites, monitoring data collection and quality control activities, querying data sets and providing key data insights for research, publications, and reports, and supporting the integration of molecular and clinical data.
Andie Alemeida, MA, MPH
Andie Almeida, MA, MPH joined CPDR as an epidemiologist in January 2024. She primarily leads epidemiologic studies prostate cancer survivorship and treatment-related outcomes.
Additionally, she provides support for the PROject for Military Exposures and Toxin History Evaluation among US service members (PROMETHEUS). Ms. Almeida completed her MPH in Epidemiology at the George Washington University and her MA in Population Health Sciences at Harvard University, focusing on nutritional and reproductive epidemiology. Prior to joining CPDR, she served as an epidemiologic research analyst at the National Cancer Institute.
Jiji Jiang, MS
Jiji Jiang, MS joined CPDR in November 2020 as a biostatistician. She leads statistical analyses for genomic, epidemiologic, and laboratory studies on prostate cancer. She holds an Advanced SAS Programmer certification and her expertise includes data cleaning, data validation, data manipulation, data visualization, missing data imputation, various statistical modeling, and report building. Ms. Jiang received her MS in Biostatistics from Georgetown University. Before joining CPDR, she worked as a biostatistician at Children’s National Hospital.
