The CPDR Epidemiology Team spearheads multidisciplinary research initiatives aimed at advancing our understanding of the distribution, etiology, and survivorship of prostate cancer. Our research goal is to enhance the diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes for individuals at risk and/or diagnosed with prostate cancer.

In our mission, we collaborate with basic scientists, urologists, oncologists, pathologists, and bioinformaticians to conduct translational research. We manage several key programmatic resources, including the Multicenter National Database Study and the CPDR Biospecimen Repository, and provide methodologic and statistical support to the CPDR team to produce original, high-quality research.

What We Do
The epidemiology team at the Center for Prostate Disease Research leads multidisciplinary research initiatives that aim to advance our understanding of the distribution and determinants of prostate cancer.
To enhance the readiness of active duty service members, we work with basic scientists, urologists, oncologists, pathologists, and bioinformaticians to conduct translational research related to prostate cancer etiology, outcomes, and health-related quality of life.
