As we start week #2 of remote learning, I want to challenge everyone to embrace the challenge before us. Do not settle for what could have been or what could be, but strive to make this opportunity the best! Start today to make a difference, commit yourself to becoming a better you! Find your passion and find your purpose. Jimmy Casas's, #ThoughtForTheDay says, " If you want to feel more productive don't wait until you have more time to do it. Do it NOW. Don't let your tasks, goals, projects, or dreams evolve into a wish but rather an accomplishment. Start today!" I challenge all of you to start today, embrace this challenge we are facing, by finding a way to make yourself better today, this week, and into the future. Seniors, work on your post-secondary plans, fill out scholarship applications, apply to the college you want to attend in the fall if you have not already done so. Prepare yourself now, DO IT NOW! Lastly, everyone reach out to someone by text, email, phone call, SnapChat, Instagram, etc and see how they are doing, you could be their difference maker. As always, Be Kind, Be Humble, Be Helpful, and Be You!
Here is a great resource for students looking to college admissions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students and parents can explore and tour a number of state and community colleges here in Kansas using the page below.
Students, here are this weeks questions! Complete these questions and you will be automatically entered into the weekly drawing for a AMC Movie Card! Try to answer these questions honestly without looking them up online! ~ Mr. Raymer!
