Students must fulfill A-G courses with a passing grade of a “C-” or better in order to be eligible to apply to a 4-year university. Satisfying these requirements does not guarantee admission to the university.
A. History/Social Science - One year of world history, cultures, and historical geography, and one of U.S. history or one-half year of U.S. history and one-half year of American government or civics.
B. English - Four years of college preparatory English
C. Mathematics- Three years of college preparatory math
D. Laboratory Science - Two years of laboratory science
E. Language other than English - Two years of the same language
F. Visual and Performing Arts - One year chosen from dance, music, theatre, or the visual arts
G. College-preparatory elective - One year chosen from the “A-F” course beyond those used to satisfy the requirements above, or course approved courses solely for this area
