Introduction
Welcome to Uplands High School curriculum information site for students and parents currently enrolled in High School (Year 10-13) at Uplands or preparing to commence their High School journey in August 2021.
The purpose of this site is:
To provide an overview of the curriculum and pathways for students in Year 10-13
To illustrate the different learning pathways available to students in our High School years.
To develop an understanding of the core and elective subjects on offer.
To support students and parents to make an informed choice about their IGCSE, IBDP and High School Diploma portfolio
Our Learning Pathways
As a flexible pathway, students can choose any combination of the courses below to build their programme. Successful completion of any course will earn students High School Diploma credits. The pathways available are:
Certification pathway where all courses are externally examined and result in certification.
An Uplands High School only pathway where courses are internally assessed.
A hybrid pathway where some courses result in certification.
