English 

Studying English is a compulsory part of the High School programme at Uplands.  All First Language English students will study both English Language and World Literature.  All students will have the option of obtaining two IGCSEs Qualifications stemming from this two-year course. English as a Second Language is also available for specific students. Placement into English as a Second Language will be determined by the school based on a wide range of assessment data.
