TCVS OR / PACU / Telemetry Entrance
Access to the entrance door of TCVS Complex can be gained using either RFID or a passcode and can also use the doorbell.
The Counseling area is used every Tuesday and Friday starts at 1pm onwards for scheduled consultation for Vein Mapping for patients undergoing Fistula procedure or other TCVS procedures.
This is also where the doctors speaks with the relatives of the patients regarding updates or the status of their loved ones.
The Locker / Dressing Room is where all personnel entering the TCVS complex must change into their scrubs to avoid Cross-Contamination from their clothing brought in from outside. This is to maintain cleanliness and prevent the introduction of other types of bacteria.
This counter station is for the donning and doffing of the relatives who enter the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
It also serves as a reception area for receiving documents and items use for the surgery.
The Doctors Call Room and Anesthesia Call Room are places where doctors can study and wait while anticipating OR procedures or rest after an operation.
The Doctors also stay here so that OR, PACU and Telemetry staffs can easily locate them.
The Stock Room where all supplies and doctors instruments needed for the operation will be found.
It also serves as the Head Nurse office, where paperworks and documents necessary for the TCVS Complex are prepared and maintained.
The Sterrad machine is also located here for sterilization.
The Operating Room Suite 1 and Suite 2 are where Open Heart, Thoracic and Vascular cases are performed.
Perfusion Room is where the Perfusionists stay and it is where the Cannulas and Perfusion supplies needed for Open Heart Surgery are stored.
The Sterilization Room is the place where all instruments used in the operation are cleaned and packed for sterilization.
Here, you can also see the Autocalve machine used for sterilization.
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is the place where all post-surgery patients are brought for close monitoring.
It has a capacity of four beds with one isolation area.
The Common Lounge serves as storage of all the equipment used in the Operating Room Complex and office supplies.
The Telemetry is a specialized area where patients receive continous monitoring.
It's designed for patients who need close observation but are generally stable enough to be out in the Thoracic, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery Complex.
The Chief Nurse office is located inside the Telemetry area. This is where the chief nurse stays and sets meeting appointments.
The office is open to all concerns of the staff and the area.
