Volunteer Orientation

I missed the orientation last 18 April 2021; Is there another orientation/training schedule?

Likely, there will be, especially for the next batch of volunteers.

I missed/did not finish the orientation; can we have access to the recording?

Volunteer Schedule and Screening

When is the date of screening of volunteers?

The screening is ongoing.

How can we get our volunteer schedules?

The UP Diliman COVID-19 Task Force will get in touch with you. Screening is still ongoing.

I have not received an email notification for any schedule yet. Does this mean I am not being considered for any volunteer role in the vaccination program?

Yes, but please stand by for further communications regarding this.

How long can we choose to stay as volunteers? If we can only volunteer 2x/3x a week, can we volunteer over the span of 3-4 weeks to meet the 7 days of service?

Volunteer Guidelines

What is the schedule/instructions/next steps for volunteers?

We're finalizing guidelines for volunteers. This will be posted on the website of Bakunahan sa Diliman.

Can volunteers work completely remotely and still contribute without risking exposure?

Yes, in case you are assigned to volunteer work that does not require being onsite.

How many hours in a day we are required to work for?

Preferably the whole day.

Can we continue to volunteer after having received the 2nd dose?

Yes, of course.

Volunteer Vaccines and Tests

Will volunteers get tested? If so, will it be before we start working, at the start of every shift, or at the end of every shift?

NO, volunteers will not be tested. Since the result of one's COVID-19 test is good only at the time of testing, testing of volunteers who will commute every day will not be practical. The best protection is to strictly adhere to health and safety protocols: wear a face mask/face shield; observe physical distancing; wash hands frequently; and ensure proper air circulation.

Are you okay with administering just the second dose for volunteers, if ever?

Each volunteer has/will be allotted two doses of the vaccine. Skipping it will mess up supply data.

Can parents of volunteers be vaccinated?

Vaccinations are available only to the volunteers.

Can we continue to volunteer after having received the 2nd dose?

Yes, of course.

Are there dorms/rooms for volunteers?

We don't have accommodations for volunteers.
