KTH ROYAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Since its founding in 1827, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm has grown to become one of Europe’s leading technical and engineering universities, as well as a key centre of intellectual talent and innovation. KTH is Sweden’s largest technical research and learning institution and home to students, researchers and faculty from around the world dedicated to advancing knowledge.
The Department of Energy Technology is responsible for more International Master’s programs than any other department at KTH including Erasmus Mundus and distance education. These programs, together with the national “civilingenjör” programs attract close to 200 new students annually, specializing in Energy Technology. The courses and programs offered at the Department provide a solid basis for careers in the power industry, manufacturing and construction industries, consulting, government agencies, and for advanced research in the broad field of applied energy technology. Topics are intimately tied to our research activities. In general, a special focus is on subjects and areas related to the transition of the energy system towards a sustainable energy-future.
Within the project KTH has bilateral agreements with:
- Imperial College London (the United Kingdom)
- TU Delft (the Netherlands)
- TU Eindhoven (the Netherlands)
