The Faculty of Engineering is composed of ten departments amongst which is the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department (EEE) that is involved in the project. The Department has been ranked top for research in the UK's EEE sector in the last Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 exercise. Recent QS university subject rankings places the EEE Department 9th in the world.
