First semester starts on 25 September. Exams will take place from 22 January to 23 February 2023.

The academic calendar shows the duration of the lectures periods, as well as the exam and thesis sessions.

The master's degree provides two academic semesters: the classes of first semester start in late September and end in the middle of January, while second semester classe start at the beginning of March and end in the first week of June.

Exams are provided at the end of classes: the winter session usually begins in mid-January and ends in late February, while the summer session usually begins around 10 June and ends around 10 July. Furthermore, Sapienza provides other two exam sessions in September. Two further exam session in April and November are only provided to students who have already finished their first two years of master's degree and are planning to conclude their course.

There are 5 graduation sessions along the year: March, May, July, October and December. Students who have completed the two years of master's degree on time, and only have to present their final thesis, they can do it without paying any additional fee by presenting it in July, October or December: graduating in March, May or July of the following year entails the payment of additional tuition fees.

STUDY PLAN


The study plan is the list of subject the students are asked to take in order to complete the master's degree.

It consists of mandatory and elective subjects, so it can be managed by students depending on their choice of the elective ones.
