LIVING IN ROME
On this Sapienza web page students can find practical information for living in Rome, from the documents requested at the arrival in Italy, to the Health assistance, as well as information on bank account opening. In particular, click on the following links for more information about:
Health assistance (more information here)
ACCOMMODATION
The great majority of our students search autonomously for an accommodation in a private room once arrived in Rome or some weeks before arriving.
However, there are still many opportunities for public accommodation managed by Sapienza: check this link for more information!
LazioDiSCo also provides accommodation options: check che 22/23 call for application (in particular at page 29) and the relevant web page!
UNIVERSITY ORGANIZATION
This is the Students main page on Sapienza website: here you can find almost all the information about University, as well as accessing student's personal Infostud account.
INTERNSHIPS
Sapienza provides a platform, called JobSoul, where students can search and apply for internships with companies/firms which have an agreement with JobSoul.
If the student has found autonomously a company which wants to make an agreement with Sapienza in order to provide the internship, it is possible by making the request through the site.
Visit the JobSoul website for more information!
STUDENT CARD
Students who have completed their enrollment can make the request for their student ID card.
This card can be used to access libraries and any other office in Sapienza, as well as take advantage of any convention and promotion offered by the University. However, it does not show specific information about the student's status: for any situation in which showing the card is not enough (such as accessing the public museums for free for Architecture students), we recommend showing the Infostud profile section, where all the relevant information are shown.
In order to receive the Student card, students have to make the request through Infostud, going to the "Profile" section, and then clicking on "Student Card". After uploading all the required documents, will be necessary to arrange a Skype call with the Secretariat.
Click here for more information about the Student card.

DISCOUNTS AND REDUCTION FOR STUDENTS
Students enrolled in Architecture (Conservation) have the right to access Italian public museum for free; in order to get the free access, you are asked to show your personal page on Infostud, where your course and academic year of enrollment are highlighted.
Furthermore, Sapienza students have discounts for some concerts, theatre and cinemas. Click here for more information.
UNIVERSITY CANTEENS
Students enrolled in Sapienza have the right to access University canteens.
Since the Faculty of Architecture is not located in Sapienza main campus, and due to the the the faculty is split in four different venues, we don't have a canteen inside an university building, but we have an agreement with "Caffè dei Pittori" bar, located in Via Flaminia 57/59.
Visit the LazioDiSCo relevant web page for more information on how to access the canteens.
LIBRARIES
Students of Architecture (Conservation) can access any Sapienza library, even in other Faculties or in the Main campus. Sapienza also offers the access to some libraries open also at night. Click below for further information:
Faculty of Architecture, through management by the Departments, has a number of laboratories which offer support to Didactics and for any student who would like to collaborate in specific researches. Below is a list of the ones related to the study themes of Architecture (Conservation):
- Laboratorio di Studi visuali e digitali in Architettura - VISUALAB
- Architettura Storica e Restauro - Laboratorio Materiali - AStRe-LabMat
Close to the Architecture faculty buildings there are some print shops where students can print their projects. In particular, Sapienza has an agreement with a print shop located inside the Faculty building of Valle Giulia (at the end of the corridor, immediately to the right of the entrance), named Alba.
