Having received a Visa and after passing the assessment of requirements (through the payment of the Registration fee), students can arrive in Rome in order to finalize the enrollment process.
After arriving in Rome, foreign citizens with Visa type D must make the Residence permit request within 8 days from their arrival (a residence permit to live in Italy is not required for European citizens).
Having received the residence permit application certificate, future students have now all the necessary documents to complete the enrollment process: in order to do so, all the documents included in the Universitaly pre-enrollment + Visa + Residence permit request must be sent, in a single merged PDF file, to the Foreign Students Office (studentistranieri@uniroma1.it). The email must indicate “Ready for enrolment in: name of the course + course number + student’s matricola + student name and surname” in the email subject.

Student registration number (“matricola”) as generated by Infostud:
University Degree Certificate, Italian or English version + Declaration of Value (DoV) issued by an Italian Consulate or Embassy in the country where the degree was obtained. Diploma Supplement legalized is allowed instead of Declaration of Vale. If you are not be able to obtain a Declaration of Value or Diploma Supplement, ask for paid service Statement of Verification and Comparability to the CIMEA.
High School Diploma (at least 12 years of schooling), Italian or English version + Declaration of Value (DoV) or Statements of Verification and Comparability. When you apply for the statements, if you submit to CIMEA your High School Diploma certificate you will obtain an evaluation on your complete study career;
Academic Transcript issued by University of origin (list of exams with credits, hours, courses program, grades), Italian or English version, certified by an Italian Consulate or Embassy. Diploma Supplement legalized is allowed.
