The staff is responsible for:
Breeding and maintenance of small animals such as mice, rats, guinea pigs, and rabbits;
Breeding and maintenance of mutant colonies (transgenic and knock-out);
Surgical procedures, anesthesia, and surgical assistance;
Development of animal models of diseases;
Genotype and phenotype analysis (histology, behavior);
Pharmacological studies in vitro (ex vivo) and in vivo.
The staff undergoes continuous technical-scientific training to ensure the highest quality of service provided.
