LTTA is a laboratory accredited by the Emilia-Romagna Region actively engaged in innovation and technology transfer in Life Sciences and Health Technologies. It is structured around the coordinated activity of laboratories with complementary skills, strongly oriented towards innovation and technology transfer in thematic areas such as: Health; Personal well-being, nutrition, and lifestyle; Digitalization, artificial intelligence, and Big Data; Materials innovation; and Blue growth.
It collaborates with companies and public/private bodies, utilizing modern methodologies and instruments, and is part of national and international networks for regional and European projects.
Use of primary human cells to study, for application purposes, mechanisms of tissue differentiation and regeneration.
Genomic and post-genomic investigations in pathologies with a high healthcare impact (neoplastic, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative pathologies).
Preclinical testing activities on in vitro and in vivo systems (animal models).
