UNC, BUKAS Ink MOA To Strengthen Students Confidence In Partnership
The University of Nueva Caceres took another bold step to make sure that every UNCean will have access to an affordable quality education. Recently, it sealed a partnership with Bukas, a financing platform that offers convenient and affordable tuition payment plans for college and graduate school students through easy student loans and installments. Bukas Finance Corporation is a duly registered corporation in the Philippines granted with a financing license by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under a Certificate of Authority No. 1199.
Bukas Tuition Installment Plan is an alternative school payment plan that can cover up to 100% of the tuition fees and is payable in 12 monthly installments with only a 1% flat rate interest per month and a one-time 2% service fee. This financial program can now take their stress out of paying monthly tuition fees thereby reaching out towards a better education.
The tie-up was formally affirmed through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on July 29, 2020 between Dr. Fay Lea Patria M. Lauraya, President of the University of Nueva Caceres and Mr. Riche Levin T. Lim, the Director of Business Development of Bukas Finance Corporation.
This collaboration will further enhance UNC’s brand promise to ensure that everyone makes it in a nurturing environment and that no one will be left behind.

UNC offers the RED Flexi Learning that provides students access to UNC’s quality educational services right in the safety and comfort of your homes and will easily be converted to blended learning once physical presence of students in the campus will be allowed by the government.
With UNC RED Flexi Learning, you have 2 options:
1) Flexi Tech or online learning modality; flexible tech-driven modality; best option for students with stable internet connection; interactive learning sessions through online platforms; learning management system as the virtual classroom.
2) Flexi Kit or modular learning modality; best option for students with limited or no internet connection; tablet with stored RED Learning Kits as the student learning guide; periodic consultation with teachers.
At UNC there is no Tuition Fee Increase, Miscellaneous Fees are reduced.
