It is your main responsibility as a student to perform diligently and regularly in your Senior Design Project. The role of the supervisor is to provide assistance and guidance to the student. However, it is your own work and you must accept the responsibility for its eventual success or failure. Your responsibility includes the following:
a) Discussing with your supervisor the type of guidance and comment that you find most useful. Obtain all necessary endorsement from your supervisor if required.
b) Agreeing a schedule of meeting with your supervisor and keeping in regular contact. You must keep in touch with your supervisor and keep him / her informed of the development of the work. If you have any problem, you should resolve them diligently under the supervision of your supervisor.
c) Meeting the deadlines set by your supervisor and in particular submitting written work in good time to allow for comments and discussion before proceeding to the next stage.
d) Complying with all rules and regulations and safe keeping of all instrument / equipment you are using.
e) Using this log book to record minutes / points of discussion with your supervisor every time you seek for his/her consultancy. The log book should also contain comments from your supervisor.
f) A void plagiarism. Plagiarism is unethical act and therefore is strictly prohibited.
g) Complying with all rules and submission criteria required in Senior Design Project l and Senior Design Project 2.
