Covid Resources
University of Minnesota has sent out a number of emails addressing topics such as where to get the vaccine, what to do if you test positive for covid, and other protocols. In the interest of helping keep things accessible and in one place, WBI has taken the offered resources and put them here (so now you can free up some email space).
As the school and WHO have both said, getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself and others from covid-19! The school has a helpful guide that addresses where to get the vaccine, how to upload your vaccination information, and more at Get the Vax.
The school also addresses what to do if you test positive for covid:
Review the Boynton Health guidelines, and remember that you can receive free testing by Boynton on campus when needed.
You can also read guidance on student positive cases on the Provost’s website, where you will learn more about the advice your professors and University staff are receiving.
If you are not feeling well or have tested positive, do not attend class in person. Please contact your instructor for guidance on making up work, if needed, consistent with the Makeup Work for Legitimate Absences policy.
If you have symptoms for COVID-19, you should be tested. Call Boynton at 612-625-3222 or use the MyBoynton patient portal to schedule a test.
If you have been contacted by the Minnesota Department of Health or another public health or medical professional, or you were within 6 feet of someone who has COVID-19 for at least 15 minutes, you should get tested and monitor yourself for symptoms. If you have not been vaccinated, you should also follow quarantine guidelines.
