The first floor of the Pediatric Academic Office is open to the public for limited weekday hours. There is one public entrance: the garden level tunnel (between the East Building and West Building). The back parking lot entrance and the west courtyard entrances are badge access only. All other floors in the building are secured and require a Fairview badge to access.
Locally, offices within the building are keyed to their respective division/department. Keys are provided to each assigned occupant of an office, to the administrative support/support team, and to the division/department as a shared on-site access key. If occupants are locked out of their space, temporary keys are available from Concierge Services or, if Concierge is unstaffed, the Pediatric Department Head's Office. On the fifth floor, keys are also available from the Lead Administrator of the Pediatric Surgical Services Line,
Each division/department within AOB is also assigned a key to access the AOB conference rooms and a key to access the AOB telehealth/flexible spaces. These keys are available from the respective local administrative team.
To request additional keys for your division or new staff members, contact concierge services at pedsaob@umn.edu.
