"We live in a globally connected world and this has led to the real estate sector experiencing disruption led by nomadic millennials, who are redefining the meaning of ‘living" (FICCI report, 2019, p.2). Co-living is a form of housing which combines private living/sleeping spaces with shared communal facilities and has emerged as the new mantra within the ambit of alternative asset classes (Knight Frank, 2019). Classified as an asset-light niche market, coliving has stirred a paradigm from shift traditional rentals in dense urban areas by providing cost-effective and service-driven housing options. The coliving real estate in India is expected to burgeon to a 13 Billion USD market by 2023 (FICCI report, 2019) . Will this trend prevail?
