What relevant experience would you bring to the position you are seeking?

As a person who values diversity and equality I have a lot of experience being involved in bringing such change. Some experience I would bring to the senator position is being involved in multiple customer service jobs have helped with my communication, listening, social and helping skills. In high school I took many leadership courses that has helped be in strengthening my leadership skills as well as how to work well with others.

How do you intend on fulfilling your role while working alongside other members of SGA? What strategies do you use to address conflict?

I am applying to be a senator which requires me to work with others to bring voice to the UMBC students. I intend on fulfilling my role while working with others by being a good and understanding member of a group as well as making sure that my voice and the other senators are equally heard. strategies I use address conflict is never going around the problem but addressing it head on so this may include better or more communication and or just listening and analyzing the situation so that you may learn more about it. Conflict is also best solved when both or all the parties work together to find a solution, equal effort put for the best outcome.

What is your vision for UMBC and the UMBC student body?

I view a UMBC with as much representation that we are able to bring and working towards getting every UMBC students voices to be heard. I want every student in UMBC to feel included and safe in their university community and feel like this can be a place for them to succeed in.

How do you plan to facilitate communications with your constituents?

I plan to maintain frequent communication with my constituents, not only to check up on them and be able to form a relationship with then to further strengthen our work together but to communicate with them frequently in order to maintain the best quality work together. I will strive to attend the majority of the weekly meeting to not miss anything and be able to communicate with my constituents in a weekly basis.
