Lecturas

One of the best ways to learn Spanish (or any other language) is by reading something you can understand, especially if it is interesting to you. Therefore, you will read (and listen to!) two fictional short stories, written at your level, that will not only help you learn Spanish, but also learn fascinating cultural and historical aspects about the Hispanic world. Once you finish, you may want to reflect about the products or practices you learned in these stories and write about it in your Reflexión cultural.

Gael y la red de mentiras

Have you ever read a comic in Spanish? You'll read one about an enigmatic character named Gael and his complex and dramatic life in Madrid, and you'll learn a bit more about Picasso and his art.

Elena

Have you ever feel like you do not fit in society? This is a story of a Mexican-American teenager and her paranormal abilities who is fighting against all odds for her parents to believe her.
