Accommodations
For students with disabilities
For students with disabilities
Students with disabilities who require accommodations must contact the Disability Resource Center (DRC) immediately. Only within the framework of a Letter of Accommodations (LOA) will your instructor be able to make individual alternative arrangements for you to succeed in the class. Therefore, students with disabilities must be registered with the DRC.
Please note that the DRC does not contact instructors automatically at the start of a semester if a student needs accommodations. It is the responsibility of the student to request a letter of accommodation from the DRC. The student then will provide such a letter to their instructor which they will hand to the Director or Assistant Director of the Spanish Basic Language Program to provide the accommodations depending on the student's case.
Without this letter, instructors cannot make any accommodations for the student.
Please note that any accommodations will be handled only from the date on which the Direction of the Spanish Language Program is notified.
