The prerequisite for French 102 is French 101 at UIC, or placement into French 102 after taking the UIC French Placement Test.

Transfer students: please consult an advisor from your college.
To avoid being dropped from French 101: if you have taken French in high school or at another college, lived in a French-speaking country, or are a native French speaker and did not take the UIC placement test, or took the UIC placement test and placed in a higher level, talk to your instructor immediately.
