Presenting to you:
A challenge to keep you rolling in this learning journey while having some fun! All you have to do is:
Step 1: Attached with this announcement is the BINGO Challenge Card. Download the card and keep crossing out the squares as you complete the task written in them.
Step 2: Mark off all the squares by completing the activities between Friday, July 29th, and Fri, August 11th!
Step 3: Once you have crossed out all 9 squares, post a picture of your all-crossed Bingo Card in #05_celebrate!
What’s in it for you?
Once you post a completed Bingo Card, you earn the bragging rights of being a ‘Bingo Wizard’ and get to add one of our first emoji badges : (‘Bingo Wizard’) to your Slack Status!
Also! From everyone who completes the challenge, 1 scholar (randomly picked) will receive some amazing Udacity Swags.

So, what are you waiting for? Start crossing out those squares already!
Project Progress Reset - Bug
Hey Shell Scholars!
It has come to our notice that some of you are seeing your Project Progress reset inside your Classroom. Please note that this is potentially happening due to a bug that the Udacity Team is looking into.
Don’t worry! Your progress will get back to its original state in some time. Thank you for your patience while this is resolved.
Congratulations to you all!
The revoking has been processed and congratulations to all of you who made it. You will continue to move forward in this scholarship journey and you will have the opportunity to apply for the Shell opportunities!
Also, this community aced the #50ProjectsChallenge by completing (passing) 51 projects in the 7 days window of the Challenge. As of now our total tally of Projects Completed stands at 209!
Also, as you stay in this journey don’t lose on your pace! Here are some numbers to keep you moving:
Data Engineers
67 of you made it here after revoking!
64 of you have passed your 1st Project. Re-submit your project with the improvements soon if you haven’t passed it yet.
54 of you have passed your 2nd Project. If you are among the 13 scholars who haven’t passed it yet, submit/re-submit your project this week and get it done!
Start working on Project 3 which is due on Mon, August 8
Software Engineers
44 of you made it here after revoking!
35 of you have passed your 1st Project! If you are one of the 9 scholars who haven’t passed it yet, carefully look at the reviewer’s feedback & the project rubric to re-submit your project and complete it ASAP!
Start working on your Project 2 (Employee Polls Web App) which is due on Wed, August 3.
Keep Learning & Stay Udacious!
The Revoking Day is today!
Shell Scholars, today, July 21st is the day.
As we had mentioned before, there is a Revoking Criteria in place to make sure that only the very motivated scholars stay in this scholarship program. And your motivation is adjudged with the progress you make in the initial weeks precisely until today (the revoking date) in this program!
It will be very difficult for us to see any of you go as we know that all of you are eager to continue this program. Therefore we would request that if you haven’t been able to ‘submit’ your 1st Project yet, MAKE IT HAPPEN TODAY!

The numbers have Reversed!
WOW! What a coincidence. You all have reversed the numbers in the #50ProjectsChallenge from the last update. This time you have added 14 more completed projects to the tally taking it to a total of 32 completed projects (since Monday!)
When you pass a project, don’t forget to celebrate it with all of us in #05_celebrate channel!
32 Down & 18 to Go
Also, here are some numbers to keep you moving :
Data Engineers
61 of you have passed your 1st Project. If you are among the 14 scholars who haven’t been able to do so, submit/re-submit your project today! You can do this too.
50 of you have passed your 2nd Project. If you have completed Project 1 but yet to pass Project 2. This is the time! Start working on the 2nd Project and submit it by this weekend.
Software Engineers
32 of you have passed your 1st Project! But 43 of you haven’t been able to complete the 1st Project yet. If you are one amongst these scholars, we will recommend to take the time and submit your 1st Project by this weekend.
Don’t forget to use your peers’ & Session Lead’s help in #07_software_engineer channel if you are stuck anywhere! Do not let any question/query stall your progress.
Keep Learning & Stay Udacious!

Howdy Shell Scholars!
Since many of you are in the process of submitting your initial projects, here are some Project Submission related details for you:
Q- When should you expect to get the Project Review?
Once you submit a project, you can expect your project review to be available in about 24-48 hours from submission.
However, sometimes due to the high volume of submissions and the time it may take your project reviewer to give personalised feedback, the turnaround time for your project evaluations may be as high as 1 week. (therefore always target submitting a project before its due date)
Q- How do you know if your Project has been reviewed?
Generally, you would receive an email notification about your Project Review status update. However sometimes due to glitches, it can happen that you don’t receive any such notification.
Therefore please look inside your Classroom, on the ‘Overview’ section in the top part of your Classroom where you see the timeline of your projects, if you see a tick against your submitted project, it would mean that you have passed it!
Q- How do you view the reviewer’s feedback?
To view feedback on your project, follow these steps:
Go to Program Home of your Nanodegree program. Scroll to the To Do section. Click on View Feedback. In the Review tab, you can see the feedback from your reviewer. And in the History tab, you can see your previous feedback from reviewers for that project.
A reviewer’s feedback is usually super detailed and personalized. You can download the project files, make changes as per feedback, and resubmit the project again (in case your project doesn’t pass).

18 Down, 32 to Go!

Major kudos to the 42 scholars who have passed this project already. Keep moving with the same force you all!
The Challenge
With due-dates of the 1st Project having passed and the Revoking Date inching closer we know that the pressure in ON! Since many of you are persevering to submit & pass your 1st Project, here’s a fun challenge to add to the adrenaline rush.
Until now together all of you have completed (passed) 158 Projects, with 83 of you having completed your 1st Project. Now is the time to take this tally higher!
The Challenge is to see whether this Community (you all together) can complete 50 More Projects by coming Monday that is July 25, 2022. Starting today (and until coming Monday!) when you complete a project, post a celebratory note in #05_celebrate with the hashtag: #50ProjectsChallenge
Throughout the week we will keep you posted on the progress in this tally! Remember your celebratory note will encourage your peers to keep pushing too.
LET’S DO THIS!
