The University of Alberta has three Convocation Ceremonies throughout the year. Your convocation ceremony is dependent on when you complete the requirements of your degree. There is a ceremony in March (for Fall Term completions), April (for Winter Term completions), and November (for Spring/Summer completions).
Find more information on your Graduation Checklist here.
As a reminder, students are expected to apply to graduate in Bear Tracks under "Graduation" in Academic Records. You can see the status of your application by clicking Graduation Status after submitting your application.
Undergraduate Student Application Deadlines:
Apply for March 2026 Convocation between July 1 and October 15.
