Nick was born in a small town in West Central Minnesota. He attended Drake University pursuing Health Sciences. Since graduation, Nick has worked with children for a variety of nonprofits. His hobbies include snowboarding, camping, archery, concerts, and spending time with his wife, their Coonhound, and their two Golden Retrievers.

Lauren grew up in Virginia and moved to Iowa in 8th grade. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2018 with a degree in elementary education. She has tutored students in math since 2018 and loves watching her students grow and learn! In her free time Lauren enjoys reading, cooking, swimming, and playing board games with family and friends. 

Mike grew up in a military family, living all over the United States and even spending some time in Germany before settling in Texas. He studied Mathematics and Higher Education at UTSA and loves helping students build confidence and enjoy math.

Hailey is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Franklin. She started as an instructor and quickly fell in love with helping students build confidence and truly understand math. She’s passionate about creating a fun, encouraging learning environment where students feel supported and excited to grow. Her goal is to make math less intimidating and more accessible—so every student feels empowered to succeed.

Robbie has been part of the Mathnasium family since 2015, working at centers across the country before joining the Green Hills team. With a math degree from the University of Texas, he’s passionate about making math simple, fun, and confidence-boosting for every student. Outside of Mathnasium, Robbie enjoys board games, rolling dice, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Dalal leads the Mathnasium centers in Hendersonville with a passion for math and education. Originally from Morocco, she graduated with honors from a top math high school and holds degrees in both Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics. 

With over a decade of tutoring experience, Dalal is dedicated to helping students excel and enjoy math. She also homeschools her three children and loves traveling and learning about new cultures. Dalal is committed to creating a positive, encouraging space where students can thrive academically and grow in confidence. 

Mackenzie graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Elementary Education and has been tutoring math since 2019. With a background that even includes certifications in Post Crisis Leadership and Hospitality Management, she brings a unique perspective to teaching. Mackenzie loves helping students build confidence and discover just how capable they are in math!

Michelle has a rich background in teaching, including homeschooling her son until he embarked on his college journey. She loves tailoring learning to each child’s strengths and has a deep passion for unlocking their potential. As a mom who’s navigated the ups and downs of raising a kid herself, she understands the challenges families face, and is excited to bring that same creativity and care Mathnasium.

Tyler's journey with Mathnasium began as an Instructor, and through dedication and a love for teaching, he progressed to become a Center Director. He is committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment where students can thrive. He is passionate about making learning math enjoyable and accessible for all students.

Brett is currently a student at Texas A&M; he plans on graduating in December 2024 with a degree in Geography. He brings a calm, encouraging presence to the classroom, using his interest in how systems interact — from geographic patterns to mathematical ones — to help students think critically, work through challenges, and gain confidence in their learning journey.

Yamini is the Center Director of Mathnasium of Bulverde, bringing a strong background in engineering, mathematics, and education to her role. She pairs her technical expertise with a passion for helping students develop confidence and creativity in problem-solving. Her favorite part of the job is seeing students’ excitement when they discover effective and innovative ways to tackle challenges. Outside of Mathnasium, Yamini enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her puppy, always approaching life with energy and curiosity.

Dalton began his journey with Mathnasium as an instructor and has advanced to lead his center with dedication and a passion for math education. He has a background in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and extensive experience tutoring college students. His goal is to help students build a solid foundation in math and develop the confidence they need to succeed.

Skylar is an ambitious and outgoing person with a passion for helping others. She is dependable, creative, and efficient. Skylar finds no greater joy than helping students reach their goals, and have fun while doing so. She believes that cultivating a good environment for students has and will continue to change the world.

Amanda, studied at Texas A&M University and earned a degree in Allied Health, with a focus on Education Promotion. While in school, Amanda worked at Mathnasium as an instructor, and also helped coordinate our school and community outreach programs in the area. She loved the impact she had on her students, helping them to understand and enjoy mathematics, and she wanted to continue changing lives at Mathnasium after graduation. As Center Director, she pursues her passion for serving our families and helping our students reach their true math potential!

Trina has been part of the Mathnasium family since 2021, starting as an instructor before becoming a Center Director. She is known for making students feel comfortable, breaking down tough concepts into easy-to-understand steps, and encouraging kids to believe in themselves. Over the years, she has helped countless students gain confidence in math and even inspired some to request her as their full-time teacher! 

Rosie grew up here in Kyle, and graduated with honors from the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders in Austin, TX. She then attended Texas Tech University and graduated class of 2020 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Physics.  

Sonjia has 21 years of teaching experience, having taught all subjects across grades 1-4, with a primary focus on math. She loves helping students discover the joy of learning new math skills and deepening their understanding of existing concepts.

 Rylee has had a long and successful history with Mathnasium. She began as an instructor in high school and worked her way up to becoming the Center Director at Mathnasium of Beaumont. She then served as the Director of Education and Training for the East Austin region. With 12 years of experience, she loves creating a fun and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.

Ellis graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Educational Studies and has a strong passion for helping students succeed. Before joining Mathnasium, he taught special education in Hawaii, where he developed a deep appreciation for personalized learning. A proud Marine Corps veteran, Ellis enjoys assembling and painting model vehicles in his free time—a hobby that reflects his love for creativity and precision. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Rikku. Ellis is excited to bring his experience and enthusiasm to Mathnasium, making math fun and accessible for every student. 

Randy graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Mathematics, focused in Actuarial Science. They started as an instructor at the New Braunfels center in 2018 before working their way up to Assistant Center Director and then Center Director. 

Dr. Johnson has served Mathnasium of North Dallas as an instructor, lead instructor, and moved into the position of Center Director in 2015. She has been a presenter at the Mathnasium Annual Conference for the past three years; presenting on topics such as Staff Meetings, Assessments and STAAR testing. She is also well acquainted with ISEE, ERB, STAAR and other state and standardized testing. She has 27 years of educational experience as a teacher, assistant principal and principal in the Diocese of Dallas, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Fort Worth. Her favorite number is 33 because of Tony Dorsett.

Anthony is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Pflugerville. He graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Physics and is currently pursuing a career in Radiology. Anthony has always enjoyed teaching math and physics, and in his free time he likes playing pickleball and soccer.

Zoe is the Center Director of Mathnasium of Round Rock and has been with Mathnasium for over two years. Born in Austin and raised in Pflugerville, she graduated from Harmony Science Academy and attended Texas State University. Zoe is passionate about teaching and especially enjoys helping students master factoring and overcome their fear of math. Outside of work, she enjoys learning languages, reading sci-fi novels, and playing with her dog.

Jackie graduated from Texas State University in 2014 with a major in Environmental Engineering, and obtained her Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019. She started as a Mathnasium instructor in 2013, and through her love of math and kids worked her way up to Center Director!

Stephanie studied at the University of the Incarnate Word pursuing a degree in Mathematics and a Minor in Special Education. After graduation, Stephanie taught various levels of mathematics on the middle and high school levels for five years. She worked as an insurance agent for 2 years before re­igniting her passion for education and Mathematics. She joined the Bulverde South location as Center Director in 2021. 

Helen's previous careers include biology teacher and researcher. Her love of education and children led her to spend 9 years working at learning centers in New York before coming to Texas in 2018.  Seeing children grow in confidence is what brings her the most joy! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, icon-writing, and playing the piano.

Annette has been teaching math for 25 years at all levels, from Elementary school to adult GED classes. She's certified in Math, Special Education, and Tech applications and also holds a Master's in Instructional Leadership. At Mathnasium, she loves meeting students where they are, helping them understand math, and building their confidence along the way.

David was born in Pennsylvania, but has lived most of his life in Texas. He went to Midway High School in Waco and graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in Biology. His hobbies include engaging in theological and artistic discourse, collecting unique pens, writing fiction, and entertaining kids! His favorite thing about math is that numbers are abstract realities. Worth thinking about for the next five years!

Dalton was born and raised in San Antonio and graduated from UTSA in 2017. He has been working in education since 2012. He enjoys collecting shoes, playing golf and watching the San Antonio Spurs. His favorite thing about math is that math is not subjective, and every problem has an answer.
