The Touchstone Honors Program requires participants to engage in service during their program of study at TWU, and in so doing, to accumulate a total of 35 service credits and 5 fundraising credits prior to graduating with honors.
Students who perform community service may earn one service credit for each hour of documented volunteer work logged with an approved agency.
Only volunteer work with one of the Honors approved service organizations may count toward this requirement.
Students must document their volunteer service on the Touchstone Achievement Documentation form available in the Forms folder on the AHS Pioneer Engage.
Students who participate in fundraising opportunities may earn one fundraising credit for each equivalent specified amount raised.
Only money raised with one of the Honors Sponsored fundraising opportunities may count toward this requirement.
Students must document their volunteer service on the Touchstone Achievement Documentation form available in the Forms folder on the AHS Pioneer Engage.

Approved agencies are announced at the beginning of each academic year and are posted on the AHS Pioneer Engage site, complete with contact information.
Proposals from students for new service organizations are welcome if completed and submitted to the New Service Org. Proposal form by the stated deadline.

All proposed service organizations are due by September 15th and will be reviewed by the Honors Advisory Council. Approved organizations will be added to the list and students can begin volunteering the following semester.
