An important feature of the Touchstone Honors Program is its emphasis on social-cultural enrichment and professional development. This feature recognizes that learning frequently takes place outside of the traditional classroom and that it spans many disciplines and interests. To this end, the program sponsors several cultural and professional development events each semester, at little or no cost to students. Events include performances, lectures, museum outings, and other interesting activities!
Your Pioneer Engage Event Pass is how your attendance at events is tracked!
If you are having trouble finding your event pass, please refer to this video: Finding Your Event Pass On Pioneer Engage
Students must attend at three (3) cultural events per academic semester.
Students engaged in certain activities that prohibit their participation are eligible to apply for a Participation Waiver.
Pre-approved activities eligible for participation waiver:
Full time internship in a different state or part of Texas
Full time study abroad in a different country
Students should submit the Participation Waiver available on the TSO Pioneer Engage site at the beginning of the semester(s) for which they are asking for a waiver.
