A native of Arkansas, Dr. Guy Litton earned his BA from the University of Arkansas and his MA from the University of Central Arkansas. In 1993 he earned his PhD in English from the University of South Carolina. He has been working at TWU since 1995 and has served as the executive director of TWU honors since its founding.
His fondest honors memory dates back to 1999 when the very first group of honors freshmen was recruited. He says, “That group has always been very special to me because they exhibited all the personal qualities you look for in honors students. They did not mind that we had not ‘officially’ created a program yet. They were willing to work hard to start one, and they did! I’m very proud of that group.” Dr. Litton enjoys meeting all of the bright, ambitious TWU honors students and seeing them explore and grow while in college. In his spare time, Dr. Litton enjoys gardening, reading, and fishing.
Mallory was born and raised in the DFW area and graduated from the University of North Texas, where she completed her BA, MPA, and PhD focusing on the processes of globalization and internationalization efforts at Higher Education Institutions around the world. Mallory joined TWU Honors in 2022 and looks forward to supporting students in their academic and personal journeys. Mallory believes in the holistic development of one's self, and strives to provide the tools and resources students need in their process of self-actualization.
When she’s not at work, Mallory enjoys cuddling with her pups (she is always willing to share photos), thrifting, and planning her next international adventure. She loves true crime podcasts, Disney, Rick Steves' PBS shows, and dragging her husband to Ikea.
Victoria was born and raised in the DFW area and attended The University of Texas of Arlington for her BA in Psychology. She is currently enrolled in the Higher Education MEd program at University of North Texas. Victoria joined the Texas Woman's University Honors team in July 2025. She came from The University of Texas at Dallas where she worked as an Admissions Counselor for two years. Eager to make meaningful connections with students, she joined the honors team and continues to work with first-year students. College can be intimidating and Victoria works to create safe spaces to learn and develop as students continue their education.
When not in the honors office, Victoria is dragging her partner to new coffee shops around DFW. One of her favorite pastimes is a day-in with her dog, Lion, playing Animal Crossing. She enjoys trinket collecting (Smiskis and Hirono), Dr Pepper, and attending concerts.
Christian grew up on a farm just south of the Red River in North Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and graduated from the Honors Scholar Program right here at TWU, where he served as both a peer mentor and Secretary of Publications for two years. He even has work featured in three editions of Off the Quill.
He is currently pursuing a Master's of Arts in Political Science, specializing in Congress and elections to the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Social Sciences and Historical Studies, and before that, as a student assistant in the Honors Office.
Christian now serves as the Business Manager and is glad to be working again in the Office of Honors Programs, supporting the program that helped him succeed in his undergraduate studies and beyond.
