Community Service

The following have been approved by the Scoutmaster, but transportation and supervision are to be provided by parents except for the OG Barbecue (Troop Sponsored, wear Class A uniform). Scouts should wear a Class B shirt and have someone from the organization sign a 3x5 card with the name of the organization and how many hours you worked. I have included websites for location and contact information. Please contact the parks to sign up for their updates since plans and conditions often change.

Spooky to be Hungry

Food collection day is Oct 29th and help is needed between 10 am - 4 pm. We will be in the Fellowship Hall to receive, sort, pack food. Peak times are noon - 3 pm. Sign up to work one or more hours here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f49acab23a4fac07-spooky1

Spooky to be Hungry is Scoutmaster approved but not Troop sponsored. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their Scouts. Please remember you should have a coordinator or someone from the benefiting organization sign a note or 3x5 card, verifying that you were there, and how many hours. Then the Scoutmaster or an Assistant Scoutmaster can sign off in your handbook. Please place the note in the black box so your hours can be recorded in Scout Book. You should also represent Troop 77 by wearing an Activity Uniform (Class B).

Don't miss out on an opportunity to give back to greenspace this summer!

Volunteer Projects are in action at Woodlands Garden and we welcome EVERYONE to join! Not only do volunteers help with essential, hands-on tasks like mulching which adds to the beauty of the Garden's trails, but they have a fun time connecting with each other in the great outdoors. Come give back to your local greenspace and meet some new Garden friends at the same time.
