Pronouns: They/Them
I work with youth and adults who are experiencing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, family stress, and burnout. I am especially passionate about supporting queer, neurodivergent, and highly sensitive individuals, and I welcome clients and families of all backgrounds into this space.
My style is collaborative, playful, and grounded. I draw from ACT, DBT, mindfulness-based practices, and somatic work, adapting these tools to fit you rather than asking you to fit a model. I believe your body holds as much information as your mind, and both are important in exploring and coping with life's complexities.
Nature is at the heart of my work. I offer in-person and virtual sessions as well as walk and talk therapy in Garfield Park for clients who find it easier to open up while moving or need a change from the traditional therapy space. I believe movement in nature creates a unique space for growth, and I bring this same nature-informed lens to my work with LGBTQ+ clients, honoring both the specific challenges of navigating identity and the steadying power of self-connection.
Outside of sessions, I find my own grounding in gardening, camping, backpacking, bouldering, and biking, living in the same natural world that I invite clients to reconnect with in our work together. Growth, rest, and change are all part of being human, and I'd be glad to walk alongside you, whether that's literally in the park or in the therapy room, as you find your way forward.
