Heather L. Savage, DSW, MSW, LSW is a therapist who brings a deeply relational, trauma-informed, solution-focused, and culturally responsive approach to care. With over a decade of experience in social work, community leadership, and mental health advocacy, Dr. Savage is committed to creating safe, affirming spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Dr. Savage works with adolescents, young adults, and adults, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress related to systemic and environmental pressures. She understands that mental health does not exist in isolation and is shaped by family systems, community, culture, and lived experience.
Her therapeutic approach is strengths-based, client-centered, and solution-focused, emphasizing practical tools, collaboration, and forward-movement while honoring each client’s story. Dr. Savage partners with clients to identify goals, build resilience, and develop strategies that support meaningful and sustainable change.
Dr. Savage is especially passionate about supporting individuals from historically marginalized and underserved communities and proudly provides affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and families. Her work is grounded in equity, empowerment, and whole-person wellness.
