Celebrating District Achievements 

We have had a very successful start to the school year with many events and celebrations already. We look forward to celebrating district achievements and the 2024 Patron Award winner at the TPS Foundation breakfast on September 10.

Today, we held a professional development session for our 19 student teachers, and we are excited to share that nearly all of them have already interviewed and been hired by the district. We look forward to welcoming them as classroom teachers next school year.

We thank Lewis Toyota of Topeka for their continued support, partnership, and investment in all of our TPS employees through a special new program. Learn more in the newsletter below.

Our dedicated staff members continue to be highlighted locally and statewide, and we congratulate Sheldon Head Start/Pine Ridge Prep Principal, Ms. Gabrielle Tanner, who was selected for the 2024 Topeka's Top 20 Under 40; Ms. Maria Martinez, an educator at Scott Dual Language, who was named a 2024 NextGen Under 30 honoree; and the many scholars and staff who have been celebrated locally in so many ways.

We look forward to seeing all of our families at Family Fitness Fun Night on September 18. Thank you for helping us have such a wonderful start to the school year!
