Welcome 2026-2027 School Year!

Dear TPS Staff & Families:

What an exciting start to the 2026-2027 school year! We hope all of our students and families had a wonderful first week of school.

Our school year has started off well due to the excellent parent and staff involvement in support of the success of every student. Thank you to our community partners who helped us serve hundreds of families with school supplies to ensure students are prepared for a successful year. View highlights from all of our first-day activities in the newsletter below.

As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday, September 7 and all district buildings will be closed in observance of Labor Day. We hope all of our families enjoy the long weekend.

Thank you for your tremendous support and partnership as we begin another great year in Topeka Public Schools!
