Dear TPS Staff & Families:

As a reminder, Spring Break will take place March 16-20, with no school for students on Monday, March 23 for staff planning. Students will return to school on Tuesday, March 24.

This week, we had a wonderful time at the annual Advisors Excel Real World event, which provides our high school scholars with valuable opportunities to explore career pathways and learn from industry professionals. We are grateful to our partners at Advisors Excel for their continued investment in and support of Topeka Public Schools.

Throughout this month, we are celebrating Women's History Month, National School Social Work Week, Read Across America Day, and Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts in Our Schools Month. We thank the many community leaders and board members who visited our schools this week and inspired our scholars, as we recognize these important celebrations.

Our Topeka High and Topeka West athletes have had an exciting season and will compete in the KSHSAA Sub-State Basketball Finals today and tomorrow for the opportunity to advance to the State Tournament. We congratulate our athletes and coaches on their hard work and dedication this season, and we are cheering on our Trojans and Chargers!
