Regarding Course Registration for Sports and Health Science
*Students of the Department of Global Innovation Studies can take it as free-elective subjects.
Course List and Time Table
For Sports and Health Science subjects (offered at the General Sports Center), check the list of courses, and check the timetable for the days, times, and practical skills offered. Also, check the syllabus for details on class content.
In order to take practical skills courses
〇Students who wish to register the sports and health science subjects are required to take a medical examination.
The medical examination is conducted at the university. If you are unable to take the medical examination at the university, please take it by yourself and report the results to the instructor in charge of the class.
(If you take the medical examination by yourself, it will cost about 7,000-10,000 yen.)
*With consent, the results of the health checkup may be inquired at the Health Service Center.

〇As for Sports and Health Science: Practical Training, please bring “clothes for exercise” and “athletic shoes” from the first class. Bring “indoor athletic shoes” for the events that are held indoors (outdoor shoes cannot be used because they may cause damage to the floor).
〇Locked lockers are available in the locker rooms. However, locked lockers cannot be used consecutively across dates.
The General Sports Center
〇Public transportation should be used for transportation to and from the school. Bicycles are not allowed.
〇Students who take classes at the General Sports Center are eligible to receive a “Commuter Certificate,” which is required to purchase a commuter pass. However, if you are taking classes (commuting) only once a week, please be sure to estimate the fare before applying for a commuter pass, as it may be more expensive to purchase a commuter pass than the regular fare. Details will be announced on the “Toyo University Official App” (distributed in early April).
