Video with graphical exercises on entities: points, lines, triangles
To show the projections of an object in a drawing, the entire space is divided into four parts, named, as you move counterclockwise, the first quadrant, second quadrant, third quadrant, and fourth quadrant. Space is divided using two planes, the vertical plane (blue) and the horizontal plane (grey).
1. Stop the animation (the button in the lower right corner).
2. Use the mouse to zoom in/out and rotate the planes.
3. Move the slider of the first quadrant of space and follow the movement of the planes to one vertical plane. This is how we mentally move the planes!
Use the interactive GeoGebra exercises below to learn how to recognize orthogonal projections of different points, segments, and triangles.
To zoom, use the mouse wheel, to rotate, the right mouse button. Use the slider to move the planes.
