1st topic
Entities and their projections
Here you will learn the following:
how the projections of a point on a line and a plane figure are obtained and
how projections of simple objects are used in CAD/BIM.
Exercises and a topic test will help you consolidate what you have learned and show you which parts of the topic require further review.
CONTENT
1.1. Projection of entities ~10 min
1.2. Practical tasks ~22 min.
1.3. The 1st topic test ~8 min
This topic will improve your ability to read drawings by giving you a better understanding of
how to locate an entity in space according to its coordinates and
how to use the coordinates/parameters of an object to obtain the necessary projections of simple entities: points, lines, and their combinations.
The student will understand the relationships among spatial structures.
The student will have a better command of the visual tools and vocabulary that will help her or him express her or his ideas graphically.
The student will be able to imagine how a 3D object can be assembled from 2D projections.
