Wellbeing Support

You Are Not Alone

As a school, we believe that mental health and wellbeing are vitally important, for both adults and young people.

To maintain positive wellbeing in school we:

Everyone needs extra support when things are tough. With this in mind, we have a wonderful team of staff trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). The team offer one to one support to students when things are particularly difficult. They are then able to signpost to ongoing support.

In school we can also refer students to Animal Care sessions, Woodland Wellbeing, ACE Tutor Support, our Bereavement Group, Emotional Literacy (ELSA) support, and other interventions.

We can give students and families information on other local and national organisations who can help support with mental health and wellbeing. We work closely with our local Mental Health Support Team (MHST) and will make referrals for young people where we feel this intervention would be appropriate.

The forms below are designed for students, parents/carers and staff to complete, if they feel that a young person is in need of additional mental health or wellbeing support. Responses to the forms are monitored regularly and sessions with a Mental Health First Aider offered in school as soon as possible.

If you have significant concerns about your mental health, or the mental health of a young person in your care, it's always best to speak to a trained medical professional. Please contact your GP Surgery or NHS 111.
