Student Welfare

At Havant Academy we take the welfare of our pupils seriously.  Should you or your child have any concerns about the welfare of any pupil please contact one of the Academy’s Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs). Please be aware that if the school suspects abuse or neglect it may consider referring to Children’s Services. If you need to contact us with any safeguarding concerns, please email help@havant-tkat.org.

If your child has been prescribed medication that has to be administered within school hours, the school requires parents/carers to contact our Attendance and Welfare Officer.

Once contact has been made, you will be asked to bring the medication to our Frist Aid Officer, where it will be safely stored away.

Please make sure that any medication is supplied in the original box/container with the pharmacist's label.  We will then arrange access for students to come to the welfare office to take their medication.
