What a lovely last week of term we have had. Year 4 had an excellent trip to Verulamium where they learnt all about how the Romans impacted the world we live in today. The Year 4 teachers were very impressed with how well the children demonstrated the Tithe Farm Way and showcased their learning. Ruby class performed a super assembly - well done for speaking clearly for your families.
We currently have a large pile of lost property, please ensure that you come to the main office to see if any of it belongs to your children. We will be throwing away uncollected uniform at the end of the first week back. If you haven't already, please check that all items of clothing are labelled with your child's name so that if lost it can be returned. Remember if you write in pen, this will wash off and need to be redone regularly.
As we move into the summer term, please remember to send your child with fresh water bottle each day and a hat to wear on hotter days.
We hope all of our families have a restful break over the Easter holidays and look forward to seeing you when we return on 23rd April.
We had a super public speaking final on Wednesday. All of the children demonstrated their intelligent talking skills. We were very impressed with the range of topics that were spoken about and the lovely rhymes which the younger children performed.
Our winners were:
Reception and Key Stage 1: Alara
Key Stage 2: Ilinca
Overall Winner: Matteo
Well done to all of the children who have managed to be in school everyday this term. They were presented with a special certificate and pencil and had a treat during the afternoon with Mrs Ryan and Mrs Molloy!
Overall school attendance: 93%
Today we say goodbye to Mrs Coleman. Mrs Coleman has secured a new job away from education. We wish her all the best in her new role and thank her for all of the support she has given to the children and staff at Tithe Farm
We are in the process of allocating the Summer Term Clubs - letters will be given out during the first week back.
The clubs offered have all been over subscribed which has meant that there may be some disappointment. We have tried, where possible to allocate 1 club to each child. In some cases this has not been possible because clubs which have been chosen have not been appropriate for the age of your child.
Please be aware that payment for the clubs will needs to be made promptly to ensure your child's place. For all clubs payment is for the full block not just the sessions attended.
We will be running a waiting list and if spaces become available in clubs we will contact the next person on the list.
