This week Year 6 have been practicing sitting SATs papers in preparation for the Year 6 SATs will take place the week beginning 12th May. The teachers have been very proud of the progress the children have made since the last time they had a practice. If your child is in Year 6, please do not book a term time holiday for this week and also ensure that they are in school everyday that week. We will be running our usual SATs breakfast - information about this will follow.
It is continuing to be reported to us by members of the public that our children are being heard swearing at adults in the local community. This behaviour will not be accepted - it brings the school into disrepute. If pupils are identified and once spoken to continue to be reported appropriate consequences will be issued by the school. Families, please speak with your children and reinforce the message that swearing in school and within the local community is not acceptable.
Today you should have received your child's interim report. This gives you an indication about how your child is doing in school. Any questions regarding the content of the interim report should go to your child's class teacher.

Please also be aware that clubs are often over subscribed. As a school we do our best to ensure that each child has at least 1 club of their choice. Please be aware that children will not always have all the clubs which have been chosen.

Currently we have only got a few active members of our street tag team which means we are currently 8th on the leaderboard.
