This week we have all been enjoying the unseasonably hot weather. As a reminder, please remember to ensure that your children always have a hat and fresh water in school. As a school we do not apply sun cream to individual children. We would suggest that you apply a long lasting cream first thing in the morning. If you require your child to top up sun cream, you will need to teach them how to do this and put the cream in their bag for them to apply by themselves. Adults who are supervising outdoor play, will ensure that children are having time in the shade and not getting over hot. If the sun is felt to be too strong, we will keep children off the playground during the hottest parts of the day.
On Wednesday we had the last of our class assemblies for this academic year - well done to Amber class for performing beautifully. This term, there are still many opportunities to come into school, including oracy endpoint week next week (times and dates are below).
We hope everyone enjoys the bank holiday weekend and look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 6th May.
Thank-you to the families who nominated members of staff for adult of the month! The children were also busy nominating this week. Yesterday the pupil leadership team choose this months winner - it was a difficult decision but this months winner is Miss Ward. Thank-you Miss Ward for all of the amazing things you do for the children in our school.
All the kind words from the votes have been shared with the adults!

Currently, the Dunstable Foodbank are struggling to keep up with the demand for support. The school would like to support where we can. If you feel you are able to donate any of the items on the list above please bring them to school. From Tuesday, there will be a table in the main entrance where we will make the collection. We will then arrange for the Foodbank to come and collect the items.
Thank-you so much to the Friends of Tithe Farm for another excellent disco! The children all had a fabulous time singing and dancing their hearts out. We hope they all managed to get a good nights sleep after all of the excitement (and sugar consumed!)
FOTF are a small group of parents and staff who plan lovely events for the children and local community to enjoy. They also raise additional funds for the school which allows us to enrich the learning experiences for your children. To ensure that these events can run smoothly FOTF really need a bigger group of volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a member of the team whether that is on a regular or adhoc basis please do get in contact with them.
Follow The Friends of Tithe Farm Facebook page to keep up to date with events which are coming.
We are excited those families who will be joining us in September 2025.
