Drama

Drama provides students with an opportunity to explore theatre and performance in a safe and exciting environment. There are plenty of chances for students to practically explore the subject and develop their acting skills through performance. The subject gives a student the opportunity to apply knowledge and understanding when creating, performing and responding to drama. During the course, students will explore performance texts, understand their social, cultural and historical context, including the theatrical conventions of the period in which they were created. Students will also develop a range of theatrical skills and apply them to create performances, working collaboratively to generate, develop and communicate ideas.
