3.Description of Our Community
Our community, Dacun Township, is located in the central-eastern part of the flat Changhua Plain. The terrain stretches from east to west and is narrow from north to south, bordered by the Bagua Mountains to the east, connecting with Fenyuan Township. To the south, it neighbors Yuanlin City and Puxin Township, to the west, it borders Puyan Township and Xiushui Township, and to the north, it is adjacent to Huatan Township. Our community is situated in the central part of Dacun Township, with a roughly triangular shape and a flat landscape. The elevation is higher in the south and lower in the north. The Shigou Irrigation Canal runs north-south through the eastern part of our township. The northeastern area is more concentrated with farmland, while the area west of Zhongshan Road has scattered settlements, mainly cultivating rice and grapes. With changing times, traditional agriculture faced challenges. Our research focuses on how traditional Mushrooms cultivation is transitioning towards sustainable development goals (SDGs) in smart agriculture.
4.Summary of Our Project
The Mushrooms Team explores the theme "Smart Mushrooms for Sustainable Green Living," delving into how the Q-YO Biotechnology Group transforms from traditional Mushrooms farming to mushroom-based processed products. They established the Q-YO Biotechnology Company and transformed it into an agritourism farm, winning national awards and becoming a renowned high-quality agricultural enterprise in Changhua County. In collaboration with the United Nations SDGs, the Q-YO Biotechnology Tribe emphasizes a people-centric, nature-adaptive, life-respecting approach, focusing on strict quality control, strain development, green production, circular economy, and eco-friendly practices to create a smart agriculture Mushrooms industry chain.

7.Problems we had to overcome
In this research project, we initially collected various online data but lacked the ability to judge the authenticity of the information. With guidance from our teacher, we learned how to choose reliable sources and distinguish the credibility of data. After on-site visits and interviews, we had a wealth of interview data, but we faced the challenge of understanding and selecting a large amount of information and dealing with specialized terminology, requiring continuous exploration to grasp the full scope of the research.
8.Our project sound bite
Our research, centered around the Q-YO Group, extends beyond traditional Mushrooms cultivation and sales to diverse areas, including precision agriculture and agritourism. Through on-site inspection and visits, we gained insights into the organizational structure and diversified business model of the company. The Q-YO Group not only offers Mushrooms cultivation experiences but also engages in the development of mushroom-based processed products, showcasing a comprehensive business strategy. Through this research, we gained an understanding of the challenges of business operations and the key factors in modernizing commerce and agriculture, experiencing the process of making Mushroom dishes and growing mushrooms. We hope that our research will bring awareness to the Q-YO Group's modern and sustainable operations.
