Light, air, humidity, and temperature – I never realized there was so much to learn about mushroom cultivation. Previously, I even thought mushrooms were plants, but in reality, they are more like fungi. Now, after doing a Mushrooms growth project, I have gained a wealth of knowledge about mushrooms. For example, most mushrooms require higher humidity during their emergence, and lower temperatures. Additionally, mushrooms need to grow at temperatures between 20 to 30 degrees Celsius during the incubation period. Prolonged exposure to too low or too high temperatures can affect the growth of mycelium, and high humidity during the incubation period may lead to poor growth. These insights have broadened my horizons and given me a sense of accomplishment upon completion.
