Changhua County is a major agricultural county, and the residents in the village where the school is located are predominantly engaged in farming. With the changing times, traditional agriculture has faced challenges. The theme of this exploration, rooted in education, delves into mushroom cultivation with a focus on the path towards sustainable development and the business model of smart agriculture aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The in-depth study revolves around the topic of "Smart Mushroom Sustainable Green Living," with the research subject being the prominent mushroom Q-YO biotechnology company in the community. This company is renowned nationwide as a high-quality agricultural enterprise and a transformed agritourism farm. In recent years, it has received numerous national awards, dedicating itself to food safety, strain development, green production, circular economy, and environmental friendliness. The company has successfully built a smart agricultural mushroom industry chain, possessing invaluable research value.
The successful completion of this research is attributed to the significant contributions and assistance of Mr. Shiwen Fang, the founder of the focal company in our brand story. He graciously accepted interviews, provided multiple guided tours and practical experiences, offering the children in our Tsun Shang Elementary School valuable knowledge beyond the classroom. His selfless dedication and contributions are admirable. Special thanks are also extended to the hardworking supervising teachers, Director Jinfeng, Teacher Hongwei and Teacher Mu Jia, who sacrificed their holidays to accompany us. This research's outcome is offered in appreciation of their contributions, and I convey my heartfelt thanks in this written expression of gratitude.

In this research project, we explored the local enterprise Q-YO Group, led by Chairman Shiwun Fang. Under his leadership, the company transitioned from traditional mushroom farming to the production of processed mushroom products, established a biotechnology company, and transformed into an agritourism farm. The company has consistently won national awards, making it a well-known high-quality agricultural enterprise in Changhua County. In recent years, in collaboration with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Magical Mushrooms Tribe has committed to a people-centric approach, harmonizing with nature, respecting life, and diligently ensuring food safety.
Through this research project, students gained insights into how Q-YO Group pioneers in the field of technology-driven agriculture, creating green production, circular economy, and an eco-friendly environment. The company has formed the Smart Agriculture Alliance Mushroom Supply Chain, contributing to local and societal well-being while fulfilling corporate responsibility. The process of exploration and hands-on experience has ignited a sense of responsibility for local sustainable development in the hearts of the students, planting seeds for their future contributions to the community.
Throughout the course of this research, we had the privilege of visiting Chairman Shiwun Fang of Q-YO Group multiple times. He generously shared the company's business philosophy, future development direction, and social responsibilities with the children. Additionally, he provided experiential learning opportunities, allowing the children to personally experience the deliciousness of mushrooms. We express our gratitude to Chairman Fang for his enthusiastic guidance and assistance, which contributed to the successful completion of this research. We admire Q-YO Group's dedication to the development of the local community and agriculture.
